We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. We subscribe to the current doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message." We are a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper.

Our mission and purpose are to be a redemptive body in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, committed to worship, to proclaim and witness, to nurture and educate, to minister, to grow toward Christian maturity, and to show to all the world what God has done, is doing, and promises to do in Jesus Christ, to the end that God's purposes may be achieved. The over-arching objective of this church is to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19 - 20)
